TACK constantly strives to improve its service. The latest change in this respect is the addition of computer tablets in each of its vehicles.
These tablets convey manifests to the drivers and record the mileages and times of passenger pick-ups and drop-offs. They do away with paper forms that need "filling in" as the driver proceeds with the manifest.
The tablets also include GPS service, something particularly useful for operators who are new to this area.
The result of this change can only improve the service that we offer to our passengers and definitely helps our employees to do their jobs more efficiently.
There is quite a lot of training that the change will bring about, as was the case when the dispatchers had to attend a 2 hour training session.
The management were the crew that kept the operation moving.
